Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, who is nominated for a Grammy, has shared her plans if she were granted a day in the presidency.
The “Rush” singer declared that she would guarantee that women and children get everything for free if she were elected president.
In a recent interview with MTV UK, she revealed this.
The interviewer questioned, “If you were a president for a day, what would you do, what laws would you enact?”
She replied, “If I was president for a day, I would make sure women don’t have to pay for anything. Everything free. All the bags, all the jewellery, food.
“Women and children won’t have to pay for anything. Always and forever!”
In response to a question on which star sign she believed to be the most toxic, she said, “Oh I know this one. I’m kidding. I love all the star signs, so nobody should come for me – but run away from a scorpion! Run away [laughs].”
