According to Fabrizio Romano, Wojciech Szczesny has reached an agreement to sign with Barcelona as a free agent.
Following Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s injury last weekend, the former goalkeeper for Juventus and Arsenal will come out of retirement this week; medical checks will take place in Spain.
Stegen had knee surgery and ruptured his patella tendon, and medical tests are set to take place in Spain this week.
The return date for Stegen is unknown, but reports suggest he could miss up to seven months.
