Attorneys for Sean Combs, a.k.a. P. Diddy, the controversial US music tycoon, have called the raid on his home a “witch-hunt.”
According to Aaron Dyer, the raid on P.Diddy’s home was a witch hunt based on baseless claims.
Following claims of his alleged sexual activity with young girls and other crimes, US Federal officials searched the rap mogul’s home.
But according to a statement from Dyer: “Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr Combs’ residences.
“This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”
However, Combs is the subject of many legal cases portraying him as a violent sexual predator who subdued his victims with drugs and drink.
At least four lawsuits claiming decades-old claims of sexual assault against him have been filed against him.
Combs, who has not been found guilty of any crimes, refutes every accusation.
Dyer said “There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”
