Jason Wilcox, the former head of Southampton, has been announced by Manchester United to take over as the team’s new technical director effective immediately.
In order to “achieve the highest standards of performance,” Wilcox will collaborate with every technical area of the Old Trafford football department.
Prior to that, Wilcox was the academy director of Manchester City. During his playing career, he won the Premier League with Blackburn in 1995. Wilcox was also the director of football at Southampton.
