Under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, Nigerian Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has promised to guarantee that every region in Abuja has access to essential infrastructure.
Wike made this announcement during the opening of a 3.2-kilometer dual road project that would connect Mabushi District with Ahmadu Bello Way. Other road networks in the district will be built as part of the project. Wike underlined that, as a well-maintained road system contributes to a calm city, infrastructure must be established before new districts are developed.
He said that the road system would lessen the hardship of locals attempting to navigate the city and encourage economic activity in the area.
The Federal Executive Council gave its approval to the project and guaranteed the contractor sufficient funding to enable its completion by May 2025.
Additionally, he declared that no project granted under the Tinubu-led administration will continue when the administration ended.
