Water, home rent, and others are not constitutional obligations of the President – Fashola

Former Lagos state governor Babatunde Fashola has stated that Nigerians expect too much from their presidents.

In a recent viral interview, the former Minister in the Buhari government stated that water, home rent, sanitation, and other issues are not the President’s constitutional obligations.

‘’Are we expecting too much from the President? What constitutional role does the President have with regards to things that affect the majority of the people? Water Supply, Sanitation, getting a business permit, paying rent? Those are things that are not the responsibilities of the Nigerian President” he said.
