Barcelona manager Xavi believes his side must stop Victor Osimhen, Politano, and Kvaratskhelia in their UEFA Champions League match.
Napoli will host the Blaugurana in the Round of 16 opening leg on Wednesday at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
Osimhen is anticipated to join Napoli’s starting lineup. Xavi believes it is critical for his team to defend effectively in the game.
Xavi stated in a press conference: “It is fundamental that we defend well against Napoli, not allowing Politano, Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia to hurt us in the transitions. They are players who can make the difference.”
“We also know that the second leg is at home, so need to be a little more cautious. We will try to defend in possession, though I imagine Napoli will aim to do the same, especially under a new coach. It’s going to be a complicated match” he added.
