The reason Obasanjo went to IBB and Igbinedion

To celebrate their birthdays, former President Obasanjo paid visits to former President Ibrahim Babangida and Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin, in Benin, Edo State, and Minna, Niger State, respectively.
The former military president was 83 last month, but the Esama of Benin turned 90 on Sunday.

The former president’s first stop was Benin, where he attended a Thanksgiving service celebration hosted by the Catholic Archbishop of Benin Diocese along with family, friends, and well-wishers, according to a statement released on Sunday by his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi.

President Obasanjo congratulated Esama on his 83rd birthday in Benin, stating his legacy in history is assured.
Following the celebration, Obasanjo visited President Ibrahim Babangida in Minna, Niger State, to celebrate his 83rd birthday.

President Obasanjo praised President Babangida’s contributions and celebrated his good health, stating he couldn’t do so earlier due to being outside the country.
