Nigerian singer Portable, also known as Habeeb Okikiola, has given an explanation for why he dug up his mother’s remains to rebury.
His mother’s body was recently excavated by Portable and reburied.
Portable said in a widely shared viral video on the X platform that he dug up her remains because the plot of land where she was buried had been sold.
Portable said, “I lost my mother at the age of 13. I exhumed her body and reburied her because they sold the land where she was initially buried.”
He revealed that he wants to build a mansion at the place where he reburied his mother.
