Forbes magazine has listed American pop singer Taylor Swift as one of the richest persons in the world in 2024.
With $1.1 billion, the singer became the first person to be listed on Forbes World’s Billionaires List.
Forbes stated in the story that was released on Tuesday that the list was created using stock prices and currency values as of March 8, 2024.
Swift, 34, accumulated an estimated $1.1 billion in wealth via her successful Eras Tour, her music collection, and her real estate holdings.
Swift is the first singer to achieve ten-figure status based just on her songs and live performances, claims Forbes.
At the age of 14, Swift started penning songs professionally. In 2005, she became a country singer and signed to Big Machine Records, releasing six studio albums.
With 200 million albums sold globally, she is among the best-selling digital artists in the world.
