Oluwadarasimi Omoseyin, also known as Simi Gold, a Nollywood actress who was found guilty of naira mutilation last year, has shown support for her pal Bobrisky, who is presently being prosecuted on identical accusations.
According to News Men, the actress was taken into custody in February 2023 following the viral release of a film in which she was seen stepping and spray-painting naira notes.
Simi Gold expressed sympathy for her buddy Bobrisky after the Federal High Court in Lagos rendered a decision on Friday finding him guilty of abusing naira.
She offered consolation in a message on her Instagram page, predicting that Bobrisky will emerge from the ordeal stronger.
She stated: “Bobrisky, nothing do you, my friend. You are coming out of this with your head up.”
She added: “Sending you loads of love, my sweetheart Bobrisky.”
