The one-year contract extension that “influential” midfielder Rory McKenzie signed is a source of great satisfaction for Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes.
After playing for Killie since coming out of the academy, the 30-year-old is getting close to 400 appearances for the team.
McInnes stated on the official club website: “We are delighted that Rory has signed a new deal. He is such a valued member of this squad and brings so much to the club.
“He has a big part to play here and I know that he can be so influential for us this season and beyond.”
