Cesc Fabregas, a former midfielder for Chelsea and Arsenal, has been named head coach of Como, a Serie A team.
Fabregas’ hiring was revealed by Como in a tweet on their X account on Friday.
The Spaniard and the team agreed to a four-year contract.
Before taking his most recent position, the former Barcelona player served as Como’s assistant coach.
Como tweeted “Como 1907 is delighted to confirm that @cesc4official will become head coach of the men’s team on a four-year contract.”
