Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid is the front-runner for the Ballon d’Or 2024, according to Marcos Senna’s top three selections.
In addition, he views Kylian Mbappe, who played for Paris Saint-Germain the previous season, and Rodri from Manchester City as strong candidates.
Given his recent success, Senna believes Vinicius would have been among his top three choices for the world’s best player last season. He also takes into account Mbappe, who can draw attention, and Rodri, who has been hurt.
He stated: “Without a doubt, Vinicius would be in my top-3 candidates for best player in the world last season. It’s been a few very good seasons.
“I also put Rodri from Manchester City, who unfortunately has been injured.
“The third one may attract attention but I would put Mbappe in.”
