Paulo Fonseca, the manager of AC Milan, has disclosed the causes of Samuel Chukwueze’s difficulties at the team. Chukwueze scored against Real Madrid and recorded two assists versus Manchester City during his impressive preseason.
But since the new season began, he has found it difficult to stay in form. Fonseca thinks Chukwueze needs to gain confidence in the Serie A environment, where making rapid judgements is essential.
In the current season, the winger has only started two games for the Rooseneri.
Fonseca said in an interview, “Chukwueze had a very good pre-season; I think he just needs to build confidence within the context of Serie A, where you have neither time nor space to think and must make the right decisions quickly.”
