Pere Romeu has been named the new head coach of Barcelona Femeni.
Romeu replaces Jonatan Girldez, who served as his assistant for the previous three seasons.
Last season, Barcelona achieved history by winning four titles: La Liga, Champions League, Copa de la Reina, and the Spanish Super Cup.
Girldez was chosen head coach of the Washington Spirit earlier this year, but remained with Barcelona until the end of the Spanish Liga F season, during which Adrian Gonzalez served as temporary coach.
