In a recent episode of the podcast “Kids Take Over,” Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, better known by her stage name Rema, disputed claims that he worships the devil.
Rema refuted the rumours, saying that the symbols he used in his artwork were not demonic but rather derived from Edo culture.
Additionally, he mentioned collaborating with Canadian superstar Drake on the leaked song “Mention Me” in 2020.
Rema said, “They say I worship the devil, It’s crazy. I didn’t respond to it because it is not important. It’s a waste of time.”
He added, “I’m happy to work with a legend like Drake. I feel like we are going to make a very huge song if we take our time to build something very strong.”
