Protests: If violations persist, the military will intervene, according to CDS

The Nigerian military indicated on Friday that it may act to contain the looting situation and identify the sponsors of the ongoing statewide hunger strike, dubbed #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, stated this at a press conference in Abuja on Friday.

Musa stated that the “military will step in” once observed that the situation “breaches beyond what they (the police) can handle.”
