Premier League: Manchester United suffer a major injury setback before facing Liverpool on Sunday

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag announced that Mason Mount will not be available for Sunday’s Premier League match against Liverpool due to a slight muscular injury. Mount has played in United’s opening two league games against Brighton and Fulham.

Using social media, the former Chelsea midfielder verified the information.

He stated: “During the last game I picked up a minor muscle issue. I’ll be out for few games.

“I worked hard to get my fitness back to where it needs to be, I felt sharp and ready.

“I wanted you to hear it from me how frustrated I am.”
