Following their agreement with the Libyan government to refuel their aircraft and clear their airspace, Nigeria’s Super Eagles players and officials are scheduled to return from Libya.
At Al Abraq International Airport, the players were left without food, water, or internet for more than fifteen hours.
ValueJet Airline is now able to operate and purchase aviation fuel from the Libyan government.
The team must receive clearance from Al-Abraq airport in order for them to go directly to Nigeria, according to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).
