Peter Cormack, a former midfielder for Liverpool, passed away at the age of 78.
On their website, Liverpool FC revealed the news and offered their sincere sympathies to his family and friends.
Cormack was a vital member of the Liverpool team that ruled English football in the 1970s after being signed by the legendary manager Bill Shanky.
Liverpool’s statement read, “Liverpool FC is deeply saddened by the passing of former midfielder Peter Cormack, aged 78”
