The manager of Napoli, Francesco Calzona, said that Victor Osimhen is progressively regaining his best form.
The Nigerian international scored three goals in the 6-1 thumping of Sassuolo by the current Serie A winners on Wednesday night.
Kvicha Kvaratskhelia’s fifth goal was also assisted by the 25-year-old, who also scored the hat-trick.
In his three games after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, Osimhen has already scored five goals.
Following the game, Francesco Calzona said with DAZN; “Victor is returning to his levels. Clearly, he wasn’t in great shape after the Africa Cup of Nations, he was away for over a month and is slowly rediscovering his form.”
