Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian international, has decided to go on loan to Galatasaray for the 2024-25 season after a conversation with his former colleague, Dries Mertens. Osimhen was welcomed at the airport upon his early arrival in Istanbul.
Belgian footballer Mertens and Osimhen, former teammates at Napoli, will perform together in Istanbul for the first time since joining Galatasaray. The 25-year-old was excited to greet supporters and start chants at the airport.
Osimhen expressed his delight at the incredible atmosphere and the chance to see Mertens again, having previously spoken to him.
