Football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims that the defender is no longer an Arsenal player.
Rekik asked to leave Mikel Arteta’s side this summer, he continued.
Romano stated on Saturday in a tweet on X:”Omar Rekik, no longer an Arsenal player as contract was terminated on mutual agreement yesterday.
“Rekik now available as free agent after his specific request to leave and try new chapter.”
