Some fans speculated it was a reference to Beyoncé, whom Minaj recently fell out with over his choice of Kendrick Lamar as the Super Bowl halftime show headliner. Minaj denied the rumors, stating that the tweet was an absolute lie.
“Nicki Minaj called Beyoncé a Robot,” a social media user alleged.
Reacting via the comment section, Minaj said, “This is an absolute lie.”
