In order to keep Jose Peseiro as head coach of the Super Eagles, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has given him the same salary of $50,000.
The previous deal for Peseiro expired with the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire in 2023.
The Portuguese accomplished the semi-final goal that the NFF had set for him.
According to News men, “He has been offered by the NFF same $50,000 monthly salary because that is what they can afford,”
“The ball is now in the court of the coach to accept this or reject it.”
Peseiro recently disclosed that he will make a decision on his future in the next few days and that he has received at least seven offers from clubs and national teams.
On May 15, 2022, the 63-year-old was named head coach of the Super Eagles.
