Next season, Man Utd will probably participate in the Europa League – Ten Hag

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has acknowledged that the squad would probably compete in the Europa League the following year.

After Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Burnley, Ten Hag spoke with BBC Match of the Day.

In the 79th minute, Zeki Amdouni equalized from the penalty spot after Antony had given United the lead.

Ten Hag’s team now sits in sixth position with four games remaining after the outcome. They have 54 points.

United trails Aston Villa, who hold the last Champions League position, by 12 points.

When asked if Europa League qualifying was possible, Ten Hag said, “Those are the facts.” Getting fourth when you’re that far behind is difficult.

“We needed to win. The past few weeks, we’ve got in winning positions and then given it away. The gap is too big in this phase of the season.”
