McCarthy – My goal is to work as a manager someday

According to the Daily Express, Manchester United coach Benni McCarthy has alluded to the prospect of quitting the Red Devils.

After serving as Old Trafford’s first team coach since the summer of 2022, the former Blackburn striker hopes to go on a head coaching role abroad.

“With the knowledge I’ve gained and everything I’ve contributed to the team – I want to take that and then eventually become a manager,” he said in an interview with YOU Magazine.

“Because once you’ve sat in the hot seat at a club and you’ve experienced the adrenaline of decision-making and leading, you want to experience that again one day.”
