Ivan Helguera, a former Real Madrid defender, stated that Kylian Mbappe, rather than Erling Haaland, would be a better match for Los Blancos.
Both players have been linked to Real Madrid in the past.
In an interview with AS, Helguera was questioned if Mbappe or Haaland would be a better signing for Real Madrid.
He said: “They are both very good, but I think Mbappe is more valid for Madrid.
“He can play on the wing, as a centre-forward, and even as a midfielder if you want.
“Not Haaland. He is a centre-forward, and that’s it.”
