After reaching an agreement with Sporting over his release, Manchester United is scheduled to name Ruben Amorim as their next manager in January.
It is anticipated that Amorim will be appointed shortly after Sporting consented to his release, enabling him to assume leadership in November.
Since his hiring in 2022, the club has invested over £600 million in developing a team under Erik ten Hag’s leadership, allowing Amorim to sell without needing to acquire.
The report also notes that Amorim will not have to buy to sell.
