Man Utd’s Kobbie Mainoo received his first call-up to the senior England team in recognition of his outstanding play.
In preparation for this month’s friendlies against Brazil and Belgium, he was called up from the Under-21 squad.
Mainoo wrote: “It’s an honor to receive my first senior call-up” in an Instagram post.
It comes as even more confirmation that Erik ten Hag and Manchester United may have discovered a long-term midfield player from inside.
