Ademola Lookman has reminisced about Nigeria’s thrilling victory over the Cheetahs in the Benin Republic.
Lookman was a standout as the Super Eagles defeated their neighbor 3-0 at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
Atalanta winger scored Nigeria’s first and third goals in a match, earning him the title of Man of the Match, and Lookman celebrated the team’s success on social media.
“Take off ⚽️ ⚽️ ✔️” he wrote on X. The Super Eagles will now focus on their away game against the Rwandan Amavubi on Tuesday.
