Lagos State Government: The Redline Rail from Agbado to Iddo will start a test run in seven days

Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, has declared that a week-long trial run of the Redline Rail between Agbado and Iddo will commence.

At a press conference held on Thursday to introduce the State’s Ministries, Directorates, and Agencies for the 2024 Ministerial Press Briefing, Omotoso revealed the information.

Members of the State Executive Council can update Lagosians on their stewardship through this yearly presentation.

Different organizations and stakeholders will be invited to board the train and use the service throughout the week-long test run.

In order to provide convenient access, Omotoso also outlined plans to connect roadways to rail and boat facilities.

He also disclosed the arrival of international investors the next week to talk about the Fourth Mainland Bridge and the Lekki Airport, two projects that will revolutionize the economy of Lagos.

The development pillar of the T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Agenda continues to be essential to the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu Administration’s mission to provide Lagosians with the benefits of democracy.
