The manager of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, stated that his club will not be the favorites against Chelsea in this weekend’s Carabao Cup final.
The game will be a replay of the 2022 final, which the Reds won on penalties after drawing 0-0 after 120 minutes.
With Klopp’s side presently leading the Premier League standings, they are considered favourites to defeat the Blues once more.
Chelsea has only won 10 matches and is now ranked 10th on the standings. But Klopp thinks they may be a threat to his team, which is beset by injuries.
Klopp told BBC Sport: “Will we be big favourites? Definitely not.
“Since we played them (Chelsea) they have improved a lot and it will be tricky, this was exceptional tonight.”
