To celebrate this year’s Easter, Nigerian gospel artist Mercy Chinwo will perform live for the first time in Lagos.
It has been verified that the public is welcome to attend the free concert with the theme “Overwhelming Joy.” It is scheduled to take place at Eko Hotels and Suites on March 29, 2024.
According to a statement released by Mercy Chinwo’s record company, Grace and Truth Nation, GNT, she will release her 12-track album, “Overwhelming Victory,” which she recorded while pregnant.
Romans 8:37 is the passage that the singer said served as the inspiration for her latest album.
She said, “Overwhelming Victory embodies the spiritual victory which we possess through Christ’s love. The album, through songs like ‘Father Eh’, and ‘My Lover’, showcases various aspects of this victory, faithfulness, might, joy and reassurance in our faith journey. It’s created to uplift, inspire and affirm the listeners’ faith, offering spiritual insight and encouragement.
