The governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has greeted Senator Kashim Shettima, the vice president of Nigeria, on his 58th birthday and called him a dependable patriot.
In a statement issued by Hon. Kayode Akinmade, his Adviser on Media and Strategy, Governor Abiodun also praised the former governor of Borno State, describing him as an intellectual of the highest calibre who has made significant contributions to government and civil administration with his extensive academic background.
He claimed that Shettima’s history of ingenuity and statesmanship, along with his preference for transforming paradigms via selfless leadership, influenced President Bola Tinubu’s selection of him as Vice President.
Prince Abiodun prayed for the Vice President to live a fulfilling life in good health, enabling him to continue making significant contributions to Nigeria’s progress.
