Ife Ibrahim, an Arsenal midfielder, has revealed that his family speaks Yoruba, a Nigerian language, confirming his Nigerian heritage.
This indicates that, by virtue of his parents, he is qualified to play for the Nigerian national teams. Ibrahim was born and raised in south London.
He began playing football at the age of seven.
He signed a scholarship deal for the 2024-2025 season and has been a member of the Arsenal team since 2016.
Eight years ago, he rejected down offers to join Chelsea, Tottenham, and West Ham United.
