Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has denied bribing EFCC officials with N15 million

Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has denied bribing EFCC officials with N15 million. Bobrisky asserted in an audio tape made public by influencer Martins Vincent Otse also known as VeryDarkBlackMan that the N15 million payment was intended to assist in the dismissal of the money laundering accusation against him.

Additionally, he asserted that despite being found guilty and given a six-month prison sentence for naira mutilation in April 2024, he never spent a day in jail.

But Bobrisky refuted the accusations, saying he completed his sentence. He denounced the phoney voicemail, asserting that he had completed his sentence, and left.

Bobrisky posted on Instagram saying: “My attention has been drawn to a fake voice recording circulating on the internet that I paid EFCC 15 million naira and that I was never in prison.

“I didn’t pay any EFCC money; it is a very big lie. I served my term in full and I came out. Discard any false information.”
