While serving his sentence for abusing Naira, crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has denied providing money to the Falanas in order to obtain a presidential pardon.
In a widely circulated audio clip that was made public last month, Bobrisky denied the allegations that he had spoken with Falz to assist in obtaining a presidential pardon that purportedly required the payment of N10 million. The individual stated that in order to guarantee preferential treatment at Kirikiri Correctional Centre, they approached Falz for N3 million.
In a different tape, Bobrisky claimed to have paid a Senior Advocate of Nigeria N5 million up front in order to get the Federal Government to drop the allegations that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had brought against him.
In his Instagram statement, Bobrisky denied the allegations and promised that a response from his attorney would follow.
