Humane not Human
You only tell the truth when it hurts,
You’re only nice if they are first,
You fear love so you grind it to dust,
And find excuses for your emotional outbursts
You never place others on a pedestal, till all you shared is lost
To protect yourself, in others you perceive the worst
Hurting everyone around you solely cause you’re hurt
But they’re fonder things to carry than the heavy weight of your bust
As humanity encompasses compassion, sensitivity, and trust….
To be human, being humane is a must.
