Erling Haaland of Manchester City has surpassed Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid on the list of the world’s top strikers, according to Austrian head coach Ralf Ragnick.
With just three Premier League games played, Haaland has already scored seven goals to start the 2024–25 season in spectacular manner.
He ended the previous season with 45 appearances in all competitions at the club level, scoring 38 goals.
However, Mbappe has come under fire after a lacklustre performance with France at Euro 2024 and a sluggish start to life in La Liga.
Ragnick compared Haaland and Mbappe to the world’s best strikers, stating that Haaland currently holds the title due to Kylian’s lack of top form.
He praised Haaland’s speed, agility, and incredible jumping power, stating that he has no weaknesses for his size.
