Erling Haaland has disclosed that in his early career, he was on the verge of joining Copenhagen.
The Norwegian has disclosed that his career might have gone in a different direction ahead of Manchester City’s second leg of the Champions League round of 16.
Haaland said “I was interested but it never happened.”
“It was for their Under-17s, so I was very young. I had a shirt I think I still have at home. I was 16 so I didn’t play any part in any negotiations.
“My destiny took me another way and it’s worked out pretty well.”
