For the third time this week, the National Grid goes down

This is the third time this week that the National Grid has failed. On Saturday, October 19, at approximately 8:16 a.m., power generation stopped.

Remember that this week’s Monday and Tuesday saw the grid trip off before it was fixed?
Power generation peaked at 3,968 megawatts at 7 a.m. and was 3,042 MW at 8 a.m. But by 9 a.m., it had reduced to 47MW.
The amount allotted to power distribution firms was 0.00MW. It is still unknown what caused the collapse.
