For the Niger Delta Power Holding Company, Tinubu names new management

The Niger Delta Power Holding Company’s (NDPHC) new management team has been appointed with President Bola Tinubu’s approval.

The President’s spokesperson, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, announced on Monday that Engineer Jennifer Adighije has been named Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.

The others are Mr. Emmanuel Umeoji, Executive Director (Corporate Services); Mr. Omololu Agoro, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts); Engr. Abdullahi Kassim, Executive Director (Generation); and Engr. Bello Bello, Executive Director (Networks).

Barrister Steven Andzenge was named Executive Director (Legal Services), while Engineer Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama was named Executive Director (Strategy & Commercial).

The recently appointed CEO of NDPHC, Adighije, is a skilled engineer with expertise in both public and commercial sector managerial roles.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and a master’s degree in wireless networks and telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London, UK.

Ngelale said. “The President expects the new members of the management of the company to deploy their expertise and experience to drive NDPHC’s mandate of effectively managing the National Integrated Power Projects (NIPP).”
