Senator Monday Okpebholo has been proclaimed the winner of the All Progressives Congress Governorship primary in Edo State.
Bassey Otu, Chairman of the Election Committee and Governor of Crossriver State, revealed the final results of the exercise in the capital, Benin, after compiling results from 18 Local Government Areas.
Senator Okpebholo received 12,433 votes, defeating 11 other primary candidates.
