Florence Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, has become the first Nigerian to host an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), making history as the first Nigerian to do so.
Cuppy presided over the UNGA 2024 Youth Action Day, “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.”
Cuppy delivered a keynote session, marking the largest youth gathering in UN Headquarters history, alongside UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and Cape Verde president José Maria Neves.
