The fact that Thomas Tuchel is expected to depart Bayern Munich at the conclusion of the season, only a few weeks after the team brought him to Germany, is described as “disappointing” by defender Eric Dier.
Dier came to Bayern on a season-long loan from Tottenham, but with the possibility of a new manager taking over, his future at the German powerhouse is now in doubt.
“It’s disappointing,” Dier said of Tuchel’s exit. “He brought me here, we have a good relationship.”
“Regardless of that, it’s a pity because he’s a very good coach. We haven’t done enough as a team in the past few weeks, the results don’t lie. Now we have to finish the season as well as possible.”
