Denrele Edun, a well-known Nigerian crossdresser and media celebrity, has openly discussed his stroke.
While discussing the most difficult phase of his life, Denrele revealed that he had a stroke that impacted half of his face.
In a now-viral interview with Channels TV, the media celebrity said that he was severely unwell at the time due to a stroke.
Recounting his story, he revealed that the stroke closed his left eye and produced a visible change in his facial characteristics, forcing him to hide the damaged side with his hairstyles.
”I had just come out of having a stroke on half of my face, I was very sick.
“But it still did not stop me from working. My face was dropping on the right side anytime I had to drink water it would pour out of my mouth. One of my eyes was widely opened and I couldn’t hear and breathe.”
