Erling Haaland of Manchester City is expected to surpass Kevin De Bruyne in Premier League salary.
Haaland is nearing a new deal with the champions, while De Bruyne, now the highest paid player in the English Premier League, is earning an estimated weekly salary of £425,000.
Haaland, currently earning £375,000 per week, is among the highest-paid players in the club.
Haaland’s contract includes performance-related bonuses that could potentially increase his weekly pay above £85,000.
The new contract could potentially generate €24 million, £20.5 million, or $27 million net, per season.
