Record producer Rexxie was unfollowed by singer Davido on Instagram after the producer subtly mocked him with the Grammys.
Rexxie boasted during a Sunday Twitter jab with a Davido fan that he received a Grammy nomination ahead of Davido for his production credits on Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning album “Twice As Tall” and Angelique Kidjo and Burna Boy’s Grammy-nominated song “Do Yourself.”
He also stated that he did not use pity or dance with children while wearing a uniform, unlike Davido, to get Grammy nominations.
His now-deleted tweet stated, “Before your fav get Grammy I’ve already gotten it. I no use sympathy or dance with kids on uniform or attend the show early with my full squad and family members. Respect!”
Following him on social media, Davido quickly unfollowed him after taking offense at his post.
Just three weeks have passed since Rexxie disclosed that Davido contacted him when he was recently imprisoned in Uganda.
